From me, an example:

violet -- my tall, sectional plastic water bottle (which I carry with me at all times), my zippered fabric trapper-keeper (which I have had for over 20 years and currently use to carry my laptop and keyboard), and some rhinestones on my phone.

black -- my phone (though the black is half-covered with many different brightly-colored stick-on rhinestones and dimensional stickers), my lap desk, and my laptop.

medium blue -- the ink of a highlighter pen on this desk, the stripe on my trapper keeper, and part of the mottled glaze on the coffee mug that Topaz got me which I keep at their house (it is hand-made and glazed with slate blue, deep fuchsia, pastel plum, and just a little bit of forest green).

As a motivator for December, I'm going to request some prompts for photo-taking (which I will likely post in lumps, but I will try to keep it in order). • their specific desires, especially ones that aren't common

• events in their past that shaped their present


• previous intense relationships (friends, family, lovers)


• their daily life and how they learn from it (not interested in a recap without the thoughts and feelings that went with it)


• their spirituality and how they invest in it (ritual, meditation, prayer, self-education, etc)

In two days it's Election Day here in my country, and I had an idea for a meme of sorts. What is your favorite quote by a current or former leader of your country? (president, monarch, prime minister, etc.)

My favorite is by Harry Truman:

"I never give anybody hell! I just tell the truth and they think it's hell."
and second favorite, by Teddy Roosevelt whom I much admire,

"I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life;
I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well."

Ever since I made the post on my tribe, I've wanted to add more, explain more. I listed my 'tentmates' but the truth is, nearly everyone on my friends list is part of my tribe. I only have two kinds of people on my flist; those whom I have a connection with, and those whom I might have a connection with. And I think the ratio is about 80 to 8; nearly all of you are SO IMPORTANT to me.

I like to know where I stand with people and I like people to know where they stand with me. So, if you comment, I will tell you why you are an important part of my life, and whether I feel a connection or am still unsure.

I am truly so very very lucky to have this amazing tribe of incredible people! Thank you ♥ I love you!
