I followed the urge without thinking about it, and when she answered I randomly asked if they had any Christian Jacq books (note that they are VERY hard to find -- I've seen the 1st and 2nd in the series but NEVER #3-5), and they had FOUR (including one I already had) of his books. (I went and picked them up the same day, of course) That's pretty much a freaking miracle! they were also very cheap when I traded in some other books. I am confident that God/dess has something important for me to learn from them, and I'm pretty excited about it :D

i purchased all the makeup in anticipation of painting my own face for the marine corps birthday ball, which is a formal event i need to attend with my husband in a week or so.
rounding out my list of eleven things is two boxes of airborn hard gummy throat lozenges (because i'm still nursing my horrible flu), two foot long subway sandwiches for lunch for my husband and i yesterday, and a myriad of gatorades and lifewaters to keep my hydrated these past few days. :-)

1) I bought new sneakers today. My old ones were worn out; it was the colors that attracted me: lime green suede and chocolate brown; it the zippers that sold me.
2) I bought a new luggage tag yesterday. I scan my driver license and put the color copy in the tag for easier "show id" with checks, etc. The new tag is a prismatic rainbow "plaid." One side of the prisms shows horizontal stripes; the other shows vertical.
3) New earbuds for my shuffle.

Lime green suede with brown embellishments and sky blue nylon inserts. The zippers form small pockets on the outer side of each shoe. The brand is Kangaroos, due to the pouch.
