I think these are wonderful goals! I agree with what you said about resolutions and why they rarely work. I love that you don't box yourself in with self imposed rules, you are so wise and free, and I admire that. Your post reads less like "resolutions" or goals, and more like a wishlist.... "things I want to do FOR myself". I love that focus. I think we are raised to think that doing things for ourselves (taking time to create, resting, dancing, getting a tattoo even) is selfish, and it isn't. It's crucial. It takes self understanding and wisdom to see that, and strength to own it. So hooray for Bel! I am going to try to follow your example. Also, you have me missing the Ga. Renaissance Festival! It's been YEARS since I've been there. My best friend used to work it, and I'd come up and work it with her for four or five days every year after the Fla. festival season ended (I worked the Bay Area Festival for about fourteen years!) What fun!

And I openly tell strangers they are beautiful. As long as I am safe about it, it should be fine, I figure. haha.
