Expect to find curse words, nudity, (occasionally explicit) talk of sex, and angry ranting, but NEVER slurs or sexually violent language. I use TW when I am aware of the need and on request.

It's about learning to love ourselves for being OURSELVES, rather than rating ourselves and everyone else according to how we match some tyrannical unhealthy standard set by greedy fucks who want to beat us down and charge us for it.

You know, that's a way of looking at "thin culture" I hadn't before... and I've given it loads of thought! I know a lot of it has to do with greed and money for selling an image and selling "sex", and I've known that fitting into a certain image can make insecure people feel like they have something special, something "ideal", but I never really thought of it as... wanting everyone to be the same way so there is more of the same, for them. So that less people get happiness and body love. Wow. But yeah, I think that's another effect of the similar thing... of feeling insecure and so not wanting others to challenge your "idea" that you are on some path of happiness by being thin...

wow.

Anyway, thank you. For posting this. For making that community, for everything.

I have some questions about it and curvy positive image in general, actually. Do you mind if I email you on it?
