LJ has a more intimacy factor than FB does. Even though I'm in FB, I find it to be nothing more than a "look at me show" as so many people are starving for attention. As well as people posting fantasies that are not true with their real lives. I've always loved LJ, been on here since 2003 :)

Definitely. It's nice for quick hits and sharing food pictures, but it's nice to have the space to think bigger thoughts.
